Before you attend a festival there is always so much hype and excitement but sometimes you just don’t know what to expect. I aim to give you a down to earth description of what it’s like at some of the UK’s festivals.
When it comes to festival reviews, most writers tend to focus on the music and performances, which is okay if you’re going to a festival to see those artists.. but if you’re like me, going to a festival tends to be more about the atmosphere than the performances. This is usually because I often don’t make it to see the artists I want to see, whether this is through being too inebriated or because I am waiting around for something/someone.. No one wants to go to a festival and have to abide by a strict schedule. That is no fun.
This blog sort of does the opposite to most, and concentrates on what it’s like to be there. I want to tell you about the atmosphere and what you can expect from the organisers, the location, the people and even the security.
Feel free to ask me any questions. There’s no question too private and no question too small. I will reply to you as soon as I have read it, with my utter most honest opinion.
